What was the problem?
The Servicio Nacional de Aduanas is responsible for safeguarding the interests of the Nation and supporting the country's foreign trade.
Within these operations, the SNA needed to implement an architecture that could handle a large number of requests sent by the Integrated Foreign Trade System (SICEX), which were operationally impossible to process.
The Methodologies
The selection of AWS services was made due to its comprehensive approach. From partners to clients, they are integrally supported on the journey towards the transformation of their processes to the cloud, in an informed, transparent, and very user-friendly manner.
The solution was addressed using the AWS Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, WAF, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and SQS services.

There were determining factors when addressing the solution, since, if not considered, the SNA could fail to fulfill its primary business function in the import and export of goods. This is without considering environmental and legal impacts that would arise in case of non-compliance.
